BLOOD AND GUTS

WAR

(Entry 004)

This photograph shows a grisly collection of human remains found in the Buchenwald Concentration Camp by American G.I.'s at the end of World War II. The collection included shrunken heads, preserved body parts, and a lamp made from human skin. What look like drawings at the front of the table are in fact tattoos from skinned victims.
